Riders stage and start on the access dirt road above the main lodge. This course gets serious right away with a big climb out of the start, so warm up is critical. The course then heads up to the Green Pond Loop singletrack, which features riding through beautiful alpine forest on dark and tacky dirt. A few rock garden sections provide a technical experience for riders. The trail wraps around the mountain and connects back onto a dirt road for another passing section and short climb. The long, sweet descent on singletrack features some newly built berms by Snowbasin. The trail turns and winds through the trees and crosses two tiny streams before dropping back onto the access road. From there, it’s a quick sprint up the road.

This course combines steep climbs, flowy single track, epic berms and a bit of rock tech followed by the finish line right past the Pit Zone! Starting with a demanding climb on a dirt road to spread out the field before funneling to single track, you’ll then descend to the first of eight notable berms before hitting the red dirt section. Enjoy the flowy single track that leads to a short uphill dirt road climb for passing and then hit the fast single track that leads to more passing and a scenic route around the dry lake. The North end of the course takes you through more berms and steep climbs before heading you towards a dirt road for more passing and a short climb before the “Party Turnz!” Finish off with a bit of technical climbing and a couple more berms before crossing the finish line. Spectators will appreciate the view-ability of this course!

This beautiful venue sits at 6,400' on rolling hills and valleys nestled below the towering Tushar mountains. The starting lap begins on a .5 mile, slightly uphill dirt road. As you rush past the Pit Zone and thousands of spectators, work your way to a good position because the course quickly narrows to downhill singletrack. Don’t worry though because the singletrack is wide and presents plenty of opportunities for passing, but you’ll have to work for it. Over the next 5+ miles there are plenty of ups and downs as the trail winds through tall grass fields and through sparse Juniper groves. A couple longer climbs may test your legs, but power up because they don’t last forever. The last part of the course skirts the edge of the parking area and Pit Zone, giving spectators plenty of opportunity to see their riders complete a lap or dash to the finish. Speaking of spectators, they’ll be able to see a good portion of this course from the Pit Zone as the student-athletes crest each ridgeline. This is a pedaler's course. It is very flowy without any technical features. Plan on fast lap times!
